His leadership of the Consorzio Vera Pelle Italiana Conciata al Vegetale will span the 2025-27 term, while Paolo Testi and Manuel Casella have been appointed as Vice Presidents.
The newly elected Board of Directors was officially appointed by the General Assembly of Members on February 20, 2025.
The board members set to serve alongside Boldrini for the 2025-27 term are: Michele Battaglia, Stefano Pinori, Maurizio Conti, Paolo Quagli, Martina Squarcini, Simone Remi and Leonardo Volpi.
With this experienced leadership team in place, the Consortium aims to continue promoting and preserving the tradition and sustainability of vegetable-tanned leather, ensuring its relevance and excellence in the global leather industry.
Boldrini said: “Vegetable tanning is more than just a technique – it is culture, identity and a deep connection to our territory. As a consortium, our mission is to preserve it, highlight its value and promote the Quality Mark as a symbol of authenticity, traceability and tradition.
This is the responsibility I take on as President, confident in the collaboration of the entire cohort, with the shared goal of continuing the Consortium’s growth and development.”
