Wright currently serves as VP of Advanced Technological Developments at Tapestry, bringing over 35 years of experience across tanneries, chemical supply and luxury leather goods.
His involvement with LWG spans the last 20 years, where he has played a role across many areas of LWG’s work, including the Technical Subgroup and the Standards Development Programme Board, as well as serving previously on the LWG Board. His long-standing commitment and collaborative approach will be invaluable as LWG continue to drive change across the industry, LWG said.
LWG has also used the appointment as an opportunity to thank Thomas Gregor for his leadership as Chair during the past two years of transformation. At the Board’s request, Gregor will continue supporting LWG as an independent advisor to ensure a smooth transition.
