In the eternal pendulum swing from vintage to cutting-edge, Saucony is revving up the retro trend with the relaunch of its Trainer 80 updated by two of London’s contemporary communities, running collective Your Friendly Runners and radio and music hub Balamii.
When it was first introduced in 1978, the Trainer 80 featured high-density EVA foam, which the brand, now a part of Wolverine Worldwide, said was new at the time.
The relaunch campaign, lensed by Joe Howat, features members of both the world of music and running.
