Local government has approved the construction of a new leather goods factory for Prada Group in Piancastagnaio.
The new facility in the Casa del Corto industrial area proposes using geothermal renewable energy and tapping into local artisan skills.
The Piancastagnaio municipal government is also planning to open a centre of the Made in Italy Tuscany Academy of Scandicci in the area, focusing on leather goods skills.
