Huawei Nova 12 Ultra was officially unveiled at the ongoing Wenjie M9 and Huawei winter all-scenario press conference. According to reports, Huawei’s Nova 12 Ultra model is available in three colours: smoke grey, obsidian black, and blue. It adopts the industry’s first integrated plain leather embossed design and second-generation custom small lychee leather pattern. The new exquisite star ring adopts a four-slightly curved design of equal depth on the front.

HUAWEI NOVA 12 ULTRA DETAILS

The company released the Huawei Nova 12 series which includes the Nova 12, Nova 12 Pro and Nova 12 Ultra. However, we will cover the other phones in another article. The Huawei Nova 12 Ultra comes with a 60MP focus-tracking dual camera and an 8MP close-up camera. This device also comes with a 50MP physical variable aperture lens. It adopts a new central binocular stereo-vision imaging system. In terms of front-facing imaging, Nova 12 Ultra has a front-facing 60MP tracking lens (1/2.61″) + 8MP portrait close-up lens (2x optical zoom, 5x digital zoom). The parameters are consistent with the previous generation. It also comes with XD Portrait Daphne Qi Portrait Engine that supports 3 colour modes: native, texture, and makeup.

The company did not reveal the processor that this device uses. However, there are already multiple reports that the Nova 12 Ultra will come with the Kirin 9000 SL processor. This mobile phone comes with a 6.78-inch 2776 × 1224 OLED dual-hole equal-depth four-curved screen. The Nova 12 Ultra debuts a fluid dynamic colour screen that supports 1-120Hz LTPO adaptive refresh rate, 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and AI HDR display.

On the software end, this device comes with Harmony Smart Communications, which supports two-way Beidou messaging for satellite communications. It also supports weak signal enhancement mode, signal enhancement in congestion scenarios, dual-SIM dual-pass dual-acceleration, etc. To keep its lights on, this device has a 4600 mAh battery that supports 100W Turbocharging.

In addition, the Nova 12 Ultra comes with the second-generation Kunlun glass. This glass is said to “double the drop resistance of the entire phone and make it even better in drop resistance.”
