Skechers has announced the launch of its new Aero series, a collection of technical running shoes developed for different training needs.
The range consists of three models: Aero Burst, Spark and Tempo.
The shoes feature a range of Skechers’ proprietary technologies, including hyper burst ice dual-density midsoles, carbon-infused H-plates, updated arch fit support systems and Goodyear performance outsoles. The Aero Tempo also includes a hyper burst pro sock liner and a full-length internal H-plate for added rigidity.
Skechers said the series was developed using feedback from a broad group of runners and includes design elements intended to support long-distance training, daily running and speed sessions. The company’s hyper arc technology, included across the range, is designed to adapt to a runner’s stride to support running efficiency.
According to vice president of the technical performance division, Ben Stewart, the Aero series reflects the brand’s ongoing product development in the performance running segment.
