The leather industry will take centre stage during this year’s EU Green Week as Cotance, the Confederation of National Associations of Tanners and Dressers of the European Community will host an official Partner Event.
The webinar, backed by the European Commission, will highlight leather’s role in sustainable development and affirm its place in the green economy.
Scheduled for June 11, 2025, from 14:30 to 16:00 CET, the online event will bring together stakeholders to discuss how leather contributes to circularity, resource efficiency and environmental responsibility — reinforcing its position in the green transition.
In a message to its subscribers, Cotance expressed pride in being selected as an official partner and emphasised the importance of including leather in sustainability dialogues. The organisation is offering early access to registration ahead of the public announcement, noting that places are limited and the webinar will not be recorded.
