The brand also achieved a slight gross profit increase to £23.2 million (US$28.79 million), while operating profit dropped 30.3% to £4.6 million (US$).
The company also reported an EBITDA of £5.3 million (US$5.71 million), declining by 27.4% year-on-year, which it attributed to greater marketing costs for new markets.
Developing new international markets, e-commerce activities and implementing new product categories are a few of Aspinal’s plans going forward in order to maintain growth despite economic uncertainty.
