Year-on-year revenues for French leathergoods brand Longchamp rose by 44% over the 12 months ended December 31, the company has reported.

Sales in China were up 84% after seven new stores opened during the year, taking its total number of in-country boutiques to 40.

Back in 2022, chief executive Jean Cassegrain told press in Malaysia that the business’ addition of categories such as footwear (in 2012) and ready-to-wear (2006) were only complementary to its leathergoods heritage, established in Paris in 1948.
