Belle International puts on a show in Shenzhen

Footwear retail group Belle International, based in Hong Kong, has staged an indoor-outdoor “immersive exhibition experience” in Shenzhen, designed to tell the story of its brands and their relationship to the local area, Chinese media have reported.
Hosted by Luohu district commerce bureau, the exhibition area occupies part of the city’s pedestrianised Dongmen shopping district. It has been put together to tell the story of Belle’s progression through product and design, plus that of Dongmen’s own development as a domestic footwear and fashion destination.
An interactive, gamified shopping route takes visitors on a “low-carbon Dongmen tour” that combines education on topics like health, well-being and environmental sustainability with digital commerce.
Founded in 1991, the group is now home to 20 brands and operates almost 10,000 stores, reports said.
