It is hoped that LCAplus will help domestic companies put together more credible, evidence-based carbon labels for clothing, textiles and accessories.
The platform incorporates product modelling, supply chain management, comparative analysis and reporting, plus data collection and management, process management and more.
State-owned national research institute China Textile Information Center is now due to carry out trials alongside “key” early adopters, local media said, to obtain feedback, test core functions and further expand the scope of applications.
