Turkey’s export of leather products to Turkmenistan soared to $3.781 million in the first nine months of 2021, a whopping increase of 38 percent over the same period last year, Ankara’s Ministry of Trade told Trend News Agency.
According to the ministry, exports of leather goods from Turkey to Turkmenistan in September alone reached $308,000.
Overall, Turkey’s global exports of leather goods increased by 28.3 percent in the first nine months of 2021 compared to the same period last year, hitting $1.266 billion.
